Conscious Youth - Corner Hub opening

It was my very great pleasure to shoot some photos for Conscious Youth and the grand opening of the ‘Corner Hub’ a brand new space for young people in Huddersfield Town Centre.

The work that Conscious Youth do is so inspiring, working with young people to achieve their potential and play an active role in their community. It was great to see how well supported the event was by community activists, local services, the Mayor of Kirklees and local businesses too - Sophie and Serena have worked hard over the years to forge these connections across different sectors towards their shared goals of supporting young people.

The new space is amazing - a much needed place for young people to just ‘be’ and it is a testament to the amazing work that Sophie, Serena and all the team at Conscious Youth do that the whole evening was hosted by young people - they did an amazing job and I can’t wait to see how this new facility right in the middle of the town will act as a platform for even more positive opportunities for young people in our area.
